Why you’ll love this recipe
- Better Than Takeout: By controlling the oil and using fresh vegetables, you get a much cleaner and more flavorful dish than the local shop.
- High Protein & Veggie-Packed: A complete, balanced meal that is easy to customize with whatever you have in the fridge.
- Perfect Wok-Hei: The high-heat stir-fry method gives the noodles a slight “breath of the wok” smokiness.
Key Ingredients
- Chicken Breast/Thigh: Sliced thinly and seared for a tender, savory protein base.
- Oyster Sauce: The key to that “glossy” restaurant look and deep savory flavor.
- Egg Noodles: These hold up well to stir-frying and provide a classic, comforting texture.
✅Quick Tips: To prevent the chicken from drying out, sear it on high heat quickly and remove it from the wok, only adding it back at the very end to stay juicy.
Key Steps
- Step 1: Sear the chicken until browned and set aside to keep it tender.

- Step 2: Stir-fry your vegetables on high heat until “crisp-tender.”

- Step 3: Add pre-boiled noodles and the savory sauce mixture to the wok.
